  Largest Magnetic Sculpture: Tim Szeto and Denis Saveliev set world record
 LOS ANGELES, CA, USA -- The founders of Nanodots, Tim Szeto and Denis Saveliev used over 550,000 gold Nanodots to create an enormous replica of the Golden Globe award which weights over 600lbs - setting the new world record for the Largest Magnetic Sculpture.

   Guinness World Records was on hand to award their work the World's Largest Magnetic Sculpture

  The previous Guinness world record for the Largest Magnetic Sculpture included only 32,786 magnetic dots; it was a replica of a Cybercube puzzle measuring 32 x 32 x 32 cm (12.6 x 12.6 x 12.6 in) which was created by Ronald Light (USA) at Science City at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

  Nanodots are basically these educational "toys" from Nano Magnetics that can be used to build many different complex and interesting structures.

   Components of the statue were created in Toronto and moved to L.A., where it was completed in a GPK gifting suite at the Golden Globes.

  Guinness World Records also recognized The largest soap sculpture, which measures 2.19 x 2.07 x 2.68 m (7.19 x 6.79 x 8.80 ft) and was created by Protex Soap (South Africa) in Johannesburg, South Africa.
