which measured 30ft 3 inches by 21ft 3 inches.
The World's
Largest Envelope was put together at Great Malvern
Primary School by employees from Pendragon, a packaging company
in Haysfield, Malvern, and pupils.
Tullis Russell Coaters and Cartor Security
Printing also collaborated to create a Stanley Gibbons stamp
for the world's
biggest envelope.
The Largest
Envelope in the World has been revealed to celebrate
the London 2010 International Stamp Exhibition.
Shortly after the world record had been
confirmed by the Guinness World Records, the World's
Largest Envelope left the school to be delivered for
display at the London 2010 International Stamp Exhibition
which opened on Saturday 8th May.
Gibbons'
spokeswoman, Louise Reynolds commented "We wanted to do something
big to mark the London 2010 Festival of Stamps - at ten metres
by seven metres, they don't come much bigger."
The World's
Largest Envelope will be on display at the London
stamp exhibition, at the Business Design Centre, Islington,
until May 15th.
