"We're thrilled that the iconic orange Chegg box that students recognize and love is now officially the world's largest cardboard box!" said Tina Couch, vice president of public relations at Chegg.

"But, we're even more excited about being able to come to UCLA and talk to students about renting their textbooks. Once they hear how easy it is and how much money they can save, it's a no-brainer."

Chegg has an inventory of more than 2.4 million titles, offering savings at more than 6,400 colleges and universities across America. Not only do students save a ton of money by renting, but there is no need to wait in line at the bookstore.
Textbooks are shipped in the iconic orange box in less than a week and return postage is free. For every book rented, Chegg plants a tree through its partnership with American Forests. To date, Chegg has planted more than 850 acres of trees or the equivalent of 650 Rose Bowls.

This new world record for the Largest Cardboard Box is eclipsing the previous Guinness world record of 42 ft x 16 ft x 8 ft set just two weeks ago, in New York.

Chegg's transformative concept of money-saving, rental access to textbooks has made it one of the Internet's fastest growing new companies and the leading online textbook rental company.     Launched nationally in 2007, to-date, Chegg has saved students more than 44 millions dollars at over 6,400 colleges.     With a growing inventory of more than 2.4 million titles, Chegg puts textbooks into the hands of students when they need them arriving in the brand's iconic orange box.
