Most snowmen built in an hour: Japan breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)

The Guinness World Records' record for the most snowmen built in one hour is 1,585 and was achieved by The Iiyama Snow Festival on 15 February 2015.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as snowmen; it was 333, in an event organised by Hope House Children's Hospices (UK) in Oswestry, Shropshire, UK, on 6 December 2009.

Each of the participants in the event, which was held in Iiyama, managed to build an average of 2.5 snowmen within the allotted 60 minutes.
