 Largest mattress: Dolidol Morocco sets world record record (VIDEO)

 
CASABLANCA, Morocco -- On the occasion of the celebration of its 40 years of existence, Dolidol, company of Palmeraie Holding Group and leading Moroccan operator in the furniture and bedding sector,
has set the world record for the largest mattress ever; the giant mattress measures measures 20 meters in length to 16 meters wide and 1.4 meters tall and weighs 11 tons, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.
The World's Largest Mattress measures 20 meters in length to 16 meters wide and 1.4 meters tall and weighs 11 tons. It can accommodate more than 200 people lying, required 1,600 hours of work. It was designed Dolidol's R&D center before moving to the production stage. The matress production required the use of 8 tons of foam, 45 km of steel wire for springs, 320 m2 of felt plates and 1500 m2 of fabric and 160 m of ribbon, as well as 1 ton of polyester.

   The world record was set at Dolidol's factory of Dar Bouazza in the presence of partners and employees of the Group.

  The World's Largest Mattress can accommodate more than 200 people lying, required 1,600 hours of work. It was designed Dolidol's R&D center before moving to the production stage.

  The production of the Largest Mattress in the World required the use of 8 tons of foam, 45 km of steel wire for springs, 320 m2 of felt plates and 1500 m2 of fabric and 160 m of ribbon, as well as 1 ton of polyester.
