Guinness World Records recognized the world record for the most visitors to a musical in a single theatre: 13,044,148 for the musical "Starlight Express" in Bochum, Germany.
The Guinness world record for the fastest theatrical production was produced in 22 hours and was achieved by Youth Theatre Performerz (UK) in association with MRL productions (UK) at the Princes Theatre Clacton in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, UK.
A team of more than 130 actors, singers, dancers and back-stage helpers was assembled for the latest effort at the Webster Theatre in Arbroath.
In addition to actors learning lines, a set was built, tickets were sold, dances were choreographed and costumes were made within the tight schedule.

Organiser Chris O'Mara said he was delighted with the success, having held the world record for just 30 days last year before his team was trumped by a youth theatre organisation from Essex.
"We were all devastated last year when we found out the world record had been taken from us in such a short space of time, but we are all determined to make sure we regain the title."
