Largest Lollipop: See's Candies breaks world record
SAN FRANCISCO, USA -- See's Candies celebrated National Lollipop Day by revealing a 7,000-pound lollipop in the city of San Francisco - which sets the new world record for the Largest Lollipop,
according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

In addition to creating the world's largest lollipop, See's Candies is celebrating National Lollipop Day by giving away* their famous Gourmet Lollypops at over 200 retail shop locations across the U.S.

The previous Guinness world record for the Largest Lollipop was made by Jolly Rancher and weighed at 4,016 pounds and measured 62.8 inches in diameter (over 5 feet square) and 18.9 inches thick.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest candy mosaic; it measured 99 m² (1065.627 ft²) consisting of 290,000 candies and was created by M/s. National Model Schools (India) in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
