The Guinness world record for the for the longest ramp jump on inline skates into water is 6.80 m (22.3 ft), set by Gaetan D'Herve (France).
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Most people treading water - single location: 308 people tread water simultaneously in a hole in the ice at lake Kuusijärvi, Vantaa, Finland.
"The new noodle world champions!" crowed organizer Sarah Frashier.
The world record attempt was put into motion by 14-year-old Nikki Weber and her brother Peter.
"Two years ago, [Nikki] was racing sailboats against Weatherby's kids and saw their world record sign," Frashier said. "She asked if we could try to beat it."
All of this noodle nonsense started with a man named Pete Pierce, who owns a house on Weatherby Lake in Platte County.
Pierce thought it would be cool to try to set a "frivolous" world record with foam noodles, The Kansas City Star reported.
"He contacted officials at Guinness World Records, who — drat the luck — didn't have such a category.
"So Pierce created his own organization, the Noodle World Authority. Three years ago, Pierce and his Weatherby friends claimed the world record."
