Largest Exercise Ball Class: Stevenson University breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)
OWINGS MILLS, MD, USA -- 390 participants from Stevenson University worked out together on giant blue exercise balls at Mustang Stadium, setting the new world record for the Largest Exercise Ball Class,
while raising funds for the Wounded Warrior Project, according to the World Record Academy.

The Guinness World Records' record for the most people exercising to a fitness video is 3,277 participants, and was achieved by NHS Halton CCG, Halton Borough Council and Widnes Vikings (all UK) in Cheshire, UK, on 5 February 2015.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest resistance band demonstration / class; it consisted of 649 participants and was achieved by Guy Leech Fitness (Australia) at Manly Beach in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 4 May 2013. "With approximately 390 participants, Stevenson University now holds the record for the largest exercise ball class in history," according to a report from Stevenson University. "Thanks to everyone who came out—and sweat it out—to be a part of this record-breaking event."
The previous world record was 353 people, set in April 2014 in New York City when a group led by Biggest Loser trainer Michelle Bridges held class outside the Today show at Rockefeller Plaza.
The event also served as a fundraiser; to be part of the record-breaking activity, participants paid $5, which will go toward a group donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
