The Guinness world record for the largest game of duck, duck, goose involved 2,135 participants at an event organised by the Logan-Rogersville School District at Logan-Rogersville High School in Rogersville, Missouri, USA, on 7 October 2011. The game lasted for 15 minutes, 55 seconds.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest game of tag, achieved by 1,566 participants of Onigokko world record Toyama association (Japan) in Toyama, Japan.

The game, which took place at the Wildcat Stadium in October and had 2,135 participants, took a combined effort from the entire district, Jennifer Katzin, principal for Logan-Rogersville Elementary School, said.

LR Elementary Principal Jennifer Katzin says, "At our Elementary school our theme for this year is 'Be A Record Breaker."

She said she couldn't think of a better way to teach goal setting than to help students in the district become world record holders.

"Now you can say that you were part of setting a world record," Katzin said to the kids at the assembly.
