The Guinness world record for the largest umbrella mosaic consisted of 2,115 participants and was achieved by the Southern Highlands Youth Arts Council Inc. (Australia), at Bradman Oval Bowral, in New South Wales, Australia.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest umbrella measures 17.06 m (56 ft) in diameter and is 10.97 m (36 ft) tall and was made by Max New York Life Insurance (India). The umbrella was unveiled at Ishanya Mall at Pune, India.
"This is a passion," Esteves said. "Actually, it's an obsession. Some people think it's crazy, but frankly, I don't care."
Esteves, 57, keeps her collection, which includes plush dolls, pin and key-chain displays, and figurines, on display in her home in Celebration.
"I'm always looking for empty spaces on the walls and thinking, 'Which Mickey can I put there?'" Esteves said.
Janet Esteves first set the Guinness World Record in 2006 when she had more than 2,100 Mickey Mouse items and has broken her record since then, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported.
