Most dogs on a surfboard: 17 dogs break world record (VIDEO)

It started out as 20 dogs on the same surfboard, but as you can see in the video below, three dogs bailed out just after the surfboard got going.
The Guinness world record for the most dogs skipping on the same rope is 13 and was achieved by Uchida Geinousha's 'Super Wan Wan Circus' (Japan) for Bikkuri Chojin Special #3 (Fuji TV) in Tochigi, Japan.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most dogs in costumed attire gathered in a single location: 603, achieved by JOKER INC (Japan) and the participating dogs, during the Tokyo Dog Jack at the Roppongi Hills Arena, in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
More than 50 dogs, from bichon to bulldog, all gathered along the shore of San Diego for a day of competitive surfing, CNN reported.
It wouldn't be the Lowe's Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog Competition (San Diego) without some kind of crazy record attempt.
Dogs were judged on confidence level, length of ride and overall ability to grip and rip it – all in the name of charity.
According to the San Diego Reader, the event was to benefit the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Most participating dogs had been rescued.
