Tallest female dog: Great Dane Morgan breaks Guinness world record (VIDEO)
STRATHROY-CARADOC, ON, Canada -- Morgan Payne, a four-year-old female Great Dane, owned by Cathy and Dave Payne, weighs in at 200 lbs and is 38.5 " at the shoulders, setting the new world record for the Tallest female dog living,

The previous Guinness world record for the tallest female dog living was set by Bella (USA), who was measured at 94.93 cm (3 ft 1.37 in) tall on 27 June 2012, and is owned by Andrew and Suzanne Barbee (both USA), in Chandler, Arizona, USA.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Longest Ears on a Living Dog, set by a Black and Tan Coonhound named 'Harbor', aged 8, from Boulder, Colorado, USA; his left and right ears measure 12.25 inches and 13.5 inches respectively.
The four-year-old dog named Morgan was officially measured by veterinarian David Kirby. The measurements were taken from the shoulders, four separate times for accuracy. Her height ranges from 37.7 to 38.7 inches tall.
Morgan, the world's tallest living female dog, weighs 200 pounds and eats seven cups of dry kibble and two cups of wet food per day.
Dave says the family couldn't be more thrilled. "It's just a great feeling from having the world's tallest female dog in the world. You know we can still barely believe it," he said.
