Most consecutive days a child has worn a tie: James Funaro sets world record
SMITHTOWN, NY, USA -- Dapper Nesconset boy, James Funaro, 6, wore a tie for 130 days (and counting) , setting the world record for the Most consecutive days a child has worn a tie while raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County.

The Guinness world record for the longest neck tie was set by a neck tie measuring 808 m (2,650 ft), which was made by members of the Academia Cravatica organisation.
Guinness World Records also recognized the longest tie dye: it measured 835 metres (2739 ft 5 in) long and 1 metre (3 ft 3 in) high and was created by the Tokushima Junior Chamber of Commerce, Japan.
