The Guinness World Records' record for the largest dog obedience lesson involved 390 dogs and was achieved by Felcan (Spain) at Mossen Sorribes Park in Rocafort, Valencia, Spain.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most dogs in costumed attire at a single location; it is 1,326 and was achieved by Nestle Purina Pet Care (USA) at the Beggin' Pet Parade in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA.

A French sheepdog called Norman has become the fastest canine to travel 30 metres on a scooter - it took him 21 seconds.

Norman not only beat the Guinness World Records' record but also shaved a cool 9 seconds off the previous time.

The event raised money for Road Trip Home, a Georgia-based group that rescues animals from high kill shelters.

Norman's owner is Karen Cobb, a dog trainer with over twenty years experience. Karen said that Norman first showed his talent for riding when he wandered onto her son's scooter when he was a boy.

Since completing this feat, Norman has become a American TV celebrity with an appearance on the top-rated David Letterman show.
