Longest ice cream sundae: White Bear Lake breaks Guinness world record
WHITE BEAR LAKE, MN , USA -- Stretching 212 gallons of ice cream over a length of 1,101 feet, people flooded downtown White Bear Lake to beat the current Guinness world record of 670.1 feet set in Cavalier, N.D.; the sundae, which stretched along Fourth Street from Washington Avenue to Stewart Street, sets the new world record for the Longest ice cream sundae,

The Guinness world record for the longest ice cream dessert measures 204.26 m (670 ft 1 in) and was achieved by The LiGht Youth Group (USA), in Cavalier, North Dakota, USA.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest cup of ice cream; it weighed 8,865 lb (4,021 kg) and was made by Baskin-Robbins at their headquarters in Canton, Massachusetts, USA. The cup stood 6.45 ft (1.96 m) tall measured from the base of the cup to the highest point of the ice cream.
The World's Longest Ice Cream Sundae, which stretched along Fourth Street from Washington Avenue to Stewart Street, raised $12,100 for Relay for Life.
