Longest Line of Baloons Popped With a Laser Pointer: WorldScott.com sets world record (VIDEO)
PARIS, France -- Youtuber WorldScott has taken one of the Spyder III lasers from Wicked Lasers and used it to pop up a string of 100 red balloons at Cremerie de Paris
, setting the world record for the Longest Line of Baloons Popped With a Laser Pointer,
according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.
Youtuber WorldScott lined up a string of 100 red balloons held down with specially modified glasses of water to keep them from blowing away as balloons pop around them.
Once the 100 balloons were set up, the laser was switched on and the beam was fired through what appears to be some sort of magnifying glass.
The Guinness world record for the most people popping their collars was 732 and was organized by Hirakata Park (Japan) in Osaka, Japan.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people to pop a balloon simultaneously, set by 8,428 people and organised by The Marketing Store (Asia) Ltd at the Talent Showcase 2005, Bo On Stadium, Shenzhen, China.
The focusing lens used is from a soldering kit's "helping hands" alligator clips holder.
Using a 750mW - 1000mW (1W) Spyder III Krypton Laser the record for single file balloon popping was set: 100 six inch (15.2 cm) balloons!
