Most ollies on a snowskate board: Eric Carlin sets world record

MOUNT LAUREL, PA, USA -- Eric Carlin, 18, a Lenape High School graduate, strung together 247 straight ollies in a row without his feet ever touching the ground , setting the world record for the most consecutive ollies/kickflips on a snowskate board.

The Guinness world record for the most consecutive kickflips on a snowskate board is 14 by Phil Smage (USA) during ESPN's Winter X Games 11 in Aspen, CO, USA.

Guinness World Records also recognized the most skateboard ollies in one minute: 42, by Rob Dyrdek (USA).

"My feet were burning," Carlin said after breaking the record. "It takes a lot of concentration because I didn't want to fall off again."

An ollie is a simple skateboard trick where the rider and board leap into the air without the use of the rider's hands.
Although it seems simplistic, it is a test of strength and endurance to be able to nail down more than 200 in a row.

According to the PhillyBurbs, David Clayton and Dylan Barlow of Mount Laurel, as well as Eric Morley of Williamstown helped sweep the street of debris and set up two video cameras to document the attempt.
"I wasn't sure if he was going to do it," Clayton said. "He kept falling off at first but he kept getting back up and he did it. He was determined."
