Most bridesmaids to one bride: Leeds bride breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)
Harrogate, UK -- A bride and groom smashed two Guinness World Records records after inviting 130 bridesmaids and 100 ushers when they wed; Amy Ewing and Radio DJ Alex Simmons tied the knot with 230 friends at Rudding Park in Harrogate, North Yorkshire; the couple's marriage was a Double World Record, beating 'Most ushers to one groom', previously at 47, and 'Most bridesmaids to one bride', which had been 126, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

The Guinness World Records' record for the Most ushers to one groom Arulanantham Suresh Joachim (Sri Lanka) married Christa Rasanayagam (Canada) at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada on 6 September 2003, Accompanied by 47 groomsmen, aged between 2 and 63.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most bridesmaids to one bride; it is 126 at an event organized by Champika Shirani Siriwardana of Salon Champi (Sri Lanka) in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 8 November 2013.
Every element of their dream day was donated by local companies - including 130 identical bridesmaid dresses worth £35,000 and suits worth £13,000.
Loved-up Amy and Alex, from Leeds, West Yorks, have four children between them from previous relationships and are expecting the first child of their own, The Daily Mirror reports.
They met at a charity event in summer 2014 and quickly fell in love, planning to marry at the end of 2015.
They saw a competition on Facebook run by bridal shop owner Abbi Lewis, who was looking to pull off a record-breaking wedding and wanted a couple to take part. Amy and Alex had planned a small wedding, but determined Abbi managed to blag everything for free and pulled together the massive event in just five months.
