Longest racketball game: Steve Rowe and Stuart Allwood break Guinness world record
Sutton-in-Ashfield, UK -- Pals Steve Rowe, from Mansfield, and Stuart Allwood, who lives in Kirkby, are celebrating after completing a racketball challenge lasting an incredible 24 hours and 15 minutes at Sutton's Lammas Leisure Centre - which sets the new world record for the Longest racketball game,
according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

The Guinness world record for the longest game of korfball is 30 hr 2 min, set by Kingfisher Korfball Club, at Larkfield Leisure Centre, Kent, United Kingdom.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest game of softball played; it was 115 hr 3 min at Waskatenau, Alberta, Canada on 30 June - 5 July 2009. Team Stollery beat Team Cross 876-766.
To break the Guinness world record the pair had to play a continuous game for more than 24 hours.
Steve, who suffered blisters the size of his feet 11 hours into the challenge, said: "When we finished it was just sheer relief.
"The exhaustion didn't kick in until around 11am when you realise that you have done it."
The pair were supported by adjudicators, friends, family, leisure centre staff and they also motivated each other when one was struggling.
As well as breaking a record, the pair also raised almost £3,900 for Cancer Research UK, smashing their target of £2,880.
Steve and Stuart, who both work for Pendragon based at Sherwood Business Park in Annesley, chose this charity in memory of a close friend Nigel Carlisle and Steve's father-in-law who they lost to cancer, the Mansfield and Ashfield Chad reported.
