To make it even better, more than $2,000 was raised for the Hockomock Area YMCA's Reach Out For Youth campaign.
The marathon helped North Bowl Lanes' mark its 50th anniversary as a community fixture.
The Guinness world record for the longest marathon tenpin bowling was 134 hr 57 min by Stephen Shanabrook (USA) at Plano Super Bowl in Plano, Texas, USA, from 14-19 June 2010. Shanabrook completed 643 games during his marathon.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest outdoor bowls marathon: 170 hr 3 min, set by six members of Goulburn Railway Bowling Club (Australia) in Goulburn, NSW, Australia.
Kinsley was pleased at the event's success. "The important thing is, everyone had a great time," he said.
