Hot Irishman
BORDEAUX,
France -- A team from the Hot
Irishman’s (based in Carlow, Ireland) poured 24 bottles
of their Irish Coffee, 45 litres of boiling water and eight
litres of cream into a specially commissioned 70-litre glass
which stands four-feet tall-setting the world record for the
Largest
Irish Coffee.

The Carlow team managed to successfully break
the world record which was held by an American crew who in
2008 only managed to make a 56-litre glass of Irish coffee.
The record-breaking event took place in the France
at Vinexpo, which is a drink industry trade show.
The Carlow company, which is run by Bernard
and Rosemary Walsh, decided to embark on the unusual task
of breaking a Guinness world record to celebrate the ten years
that Hot
Irishman’s has been in business.
