Richest fruit cake: China breaks Guinness World Records record
NANJING, China -- A group of chefs in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province have set a world record for baking the "richest fruit cake" with the most ingredients; the Giant cake, 3.29 meters in diameter, was made with 329 ingredients, including strawberry, mango, grape and ginseng fruit, setting the world record for the Richest fruit cake,
according to the World Record Academy.

The Guinness World Records' record for the longest fruit cake is 503.34 m (1,651 ft 4 in) and was achieved by Panaderia Schick (Nicaragua) at the Centro Comercial Managua, Managua, Nicaragua, on 17 November 2013.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest fruit cake; it weighs 4,353 kg (9,596 lb 11 oz) and was achieved by Dr. Fabrizio Sepe (Italy) in Hodenhagen, Germany on 24 May 2014. The cake was made of strawberies, tangerines, peaches and ananas. A total of 440 trays were baked, 20 people worked 250 hours to prepare it.

The cake was certified as "the richest cake" in terms of the number of fruits and other ingredients used by the Guinness Book of world records.
Hundreds of citizens have lined up to taste a slice of this giant fruit cake.
