  Largest emoji: Tesco breaks Guinness World Records record

   LONDON, UK -- The world's biggest emojis have been created in a field near Bath to cheer up weary commuters; with the help of 25 artists and 700 litres of paint, a giant smiling face emoji that spans 100ft - the equivalent of three double decker buses - graced the outskirts of the Somerset city while a mysterious smiley faces crop circle appeared near Chippenham, according to the World Record Academy.

  The Guinness World Records' record for the e largest neckerchief measures 913.64 m² (9834.33 ft²) and the largest woggle has a depth of 1.82 m (5 ft 11 inch) and a height of 1.11 m (3 ft 7 in), and were created by the 121e Groupe Scouts Saint-Étienne-de-Lauzon (Canada), in Levis, Quebec, Canada, on 21 February 2015.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest human mobile; it was made up of 105 people from Target Cranes, The Stunt Company, Bellville Fire Dept. and the Fire Brigade of Boland Mun, in the grounds of Horizon House, Stellenbosch, South Africa on 3 November 2007.

    The previous Guinness World records world record for the biggest emoji in the world was a 50ft emoji on a video wall in Singapore in 2014.
   
    The best view of the giant emojis is saved for anyone flying from Bristol Aiport - they are so big they can be seen from up to 10,000ft.

    Another team has - with the help of 700 litres of paint, a 100-foot tape measure and twenty-five dedicated artists - painted a 100 feet emoji on a hill near Bathford. The painting is expected to last for around a month whilst the crop circle emoji is expected to last for three weeks.

    "The popularity of people expressing themselves via emojis has exploded over the last couple of years. We are committed to helping Brits wake up to better, and so, what better way than to create gigantic smiling emojis to make people grin on their commute?" said Simon Groves, chief marketeer at Tesco Mobile, which was behind the stunt.

    The mobile network has done the stunt after a survey of 2,000 Brits found that a smile from a stranger and a stress-free commute is the perfect way to lift commuters' spirits in the morning.
