Most people modelling on a catwalk: Very breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)
LIVERPOOL, UK -- Very breaks the Guinness World records world record for the most models on a catwalk; the event, called Very Big Catwalk, invited models, celebrities and local community groups to take to the runway on the Liverpool waterfront; the new world record, 3,651, broke the previous Guinness World Records record by more than 150 people, according to the World Record Academy.

The Guinness World Records' record for the most people modelling on a catwalk is 3,651 and was achieved by Culture Liverpool in association with very.co.uk (both UK), in Pier Head, Liverpool, UK, on 4 July 2015.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest swimwear fashion show; it consists of 502 people and was achieved by Huludao Municipal Government (China), in Huludao, Liaoning, China on 23 June 2015.
To break the Guinness World Records record 3,651 models strutted their stuff on The Very Big Catwalk Show at Liverpool's Pier Head (July 4), including Saturday's singer and Very designer Rochelle Humes and Lauren Pope from The Only Way is Essex.
The record-breaking spectacle, which online retail giant Very.co.uk helped to bring to life, formed part of the city's Transatlantic 175 celebrations to mark the 175th anniversary of the first transatlantic crossing.
The Very Big Catwalk, sponsored by online retail giant Very.co.uk, was produced by TV and live event fashion producer Jane Galpin and hosted by British fashion expert and former editor of the BBC's The Clothes Show, Caryn Franklin MBE.
Everyone from school children to pensioners came together to break the Guinness World Records title, with 'tribes' such as Cruise Liverpool to Liverpool Signing Choir and basketball teams to Biggins all strolling down the runway under the shadow of the Liver Birds and the RMS Queen Mary 2, which was docked at Liverpool Pier Head preparing to recreate its inaugural voyage to Boston.
The previous Guinness World Records record for the most people modelling on a catwalk is 3,083 and was achieved by the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Moda, Casa de Francia (Mexico) in Mexico City, Mexico, on 24 November 2013.
