Longest massage chain-world record set by the
National Young Volunteers Service
LEEDS, England --430 people from v,
the National Young Volunteers Service and music fans lined
up to create the new world record for the longest
massage chain.
The World Record for the longest
massage chain is part of v's Outdoor Favours campaign
to show teens and young adults how fun and easy it is to do
a favour for someone, no matter how big or small - including
giving a person a backrub. (enlarge

The campaign has been touring the UK's hottest
festivals to help inspire the nation's 16-25 year olds to
spend some time volunteering.
v's Chief Executive Terry Ryall said, "v prides
itself on creating engaging experiences for the younger generation.
We've proved that doing a favour for another person can reap
a positive reward; including a World Record." The previous Guinness world record for
the Longest
massage chain stood at 260 people.

inspire a new generation of volunteers (aged 16-25) in England.
It does this by funding voluntary organisations all over England
to create inspiring, diverse opportunities and by helping
to overcome barriers that stop people from taking action to

benefits of volunteering are understood and celebrated.
