Thinnest Handmade Noodles: world record set by Chef Li Hongkai
BEIJING, China -- ChefLi Hongkai from southwest China's Sichuan Province can cook up a single noodle strand measuring only 0.067mm in diameter, which is thinner than a human hair; fourty two strands of the noodle can be threated through the eye of a needle, thus setting the new world record for the Thinnest Handmade Noodles, according to the World Record Academy.

R Li, founder of "the thinnest handmade noodles", can cook up a single noodle strand measuring only 0.067mm in diameter, which is thinner than a human hair.
The GUINNESS WORLD RECORD (TM) for the thinnest handmade chinese noodle measures 0.22 mm (0.0866 in) in diametre and was created by Hiroshi Kuroda (Japan) in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi, Japan, on 18 July 2012.
GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS (TM) also recognized the world record for the most strings of noodle threaded using a needle; it is 45 and was achieved by Li Enhai (China) on the set of Lo Show dei Record in Rome, Italy, on 1 April 2010.
The master chef is capable of producing noodles as thin as 0.067 of a millimeter, which is a World Record for the Thinnest Handmade Noodles.
Li Hongkai can create noodles which can regularly be passed through the eye of a needle between 30 to 40 times.
