Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest simultaneous game of Monopoly; it was achieved with 2,918 people at 21 locations world wide and on a website organised by Hasbro, on 27 August 2008.
The Mayor of High Wycombe Mohammed Hanif also attended to show his support and volunteers from One Can Trust and the British Legion acted as external witnesses.
All Monopoly boards used in the event were personalised Wycombe Abbey Monopoly sets and will be sold in the school shop.
