LONDON, UK -- Yannick Read has created Super Tinkey, a 75cm-wide burger van from an old barbecue, a mobility scooter and parts from a Harley Davidson with sheets of plywood and MDF nailed to the side, setting the new world record for the Smallest burger van, according to the World Record Academy.

Yannick Read, 45, built the miniature road-legal version of the iconic Citroen H van with his three children, 12-year-old Noah, Bertie, nine, and Olive, seven.

The Guinness World Records world record for the smallest monoplane ever flown is the Baby Bird, designed and built by Donald R Stits (USA). It is 3.35 m (11 ft) long, with a wing span of 1.91 m (6.25 ft) and weighs 114.3 kg (252 lb) empty.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Smallest motorized model car, set by Nippondenso of Kariya, Japan who created a motorized model of Toyota's first passenger car, the 1936 AA sedan, which is 4.785 mm. (0.188 in.) long, 1.730 mm. (0.068 in.) wide and 1.736 mm. (0.068 in.) high.

Yannick Read constructed the fully-working, 75cm-wide van and cooks up miniature burgers and quail eggs for neighbours in the street – despite being smaller than a classic Mini.

The flaming van, nicknamed Super Tinkey, is made from an old barbecue, a mobility scooter and parts from a Harley Davidson with sheets of plywood and MDF nailed to the side.

It is designed to look like a Citroen H van, but is only about a third the size – and completely road legal.

Mr Read, from Kingston, is already an official world record-breaker, having created the world's smallest caravan and the world's loudest bicycle horn.
