Most different cakes displayed: Culinary Academy Of India sets world record (VIDEO)
Hyderabad, India -- As a part of the Christmas celebration, Culinary Academy of India exhibited a total of 506 different cakes and gateaux products like set cakes, fresh cream cakes, butter cakes, tarts, pies and flans along with a blend of a new futuristic confectioneries like Baum Kuchien, checker board cake, treacle tart, gianduja cakes, etc, among other yummy offerings, thus setting the new world record for the Most different cakes displayed at a single venue, according to the World Record Academy. The Guinness World Records world record for the longest line of cakes measures 1,706.78 m (5,599 ft 8 in), achieved by Midori City (Japan) at Midori Municipal Gymnasium, in Midori, Gunma, Japan, on 23 December 2016.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the tallest cake pyramid; it measures 2.79 m (9 ft 2 in) and was achieved by Stratford University (USA), at Potomac Mills Mall in Woodbridge, Virginia, USA, on 11 November 2016.
The students have created a whole new ambience in the college with the shimmering ornaments and colourful lights glowing, tall bright candles enlighting and of course a Christmas tree surrounding by gifts, stars and candies!

Photo: More than 100 students worked for 96 working hours to make the 506 diffrent cakes, using 350 kilos of flour, 150kg of sugar, 80 trays of eggs, 50 kilos of dark chocolate and no less than 143 other ingredients! Prominent Hotels, Catering Colleges and firms were invited to witness the Grand Gala Buffet and enjoy the sumptuous lunch thereafter.
