Mr Garland said while the group had sore arms they were
happy to hold the record and raise money in the process.
"We battled through the rain and the cold but
eventually got there. All the boys enjoyed a round of beers
when we got home," Mr Garland said.
So far they have raised $4500 for the Westpac
Rescue Helicopter service.
Mr Garland's next world record attempt will be
as part of a cricket match between two teams made up of local
police officers.
