The Guinness world record for the lightest mobile phone was set by the modu, which weighs 40.1 g (1.41 oz). It is manufactured by modu ltd. (Israel) and was launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Thinnest mobile (cell) phone 3G, set by Samsung's (South Korea) Ultra Edition 8.4 Z370, which is the world's thinnest 3G mobile phone, featuring a 2-mega-pixel camera mounted in a body just 8.4 mm (0.3 in) thick and just 71 g.

According to its Massachusetts-based creators Devotec Industries, it's 'perfect for when you have had an unexpected delay, or haven't been able to fully charge your phone, and need to make a few calls, send a work email or use your GPS and maps function to find your way home.

The battery is housed in die-cast aluminium which features three coloured LEDs to let you know whether Fuel is charging, fully charged or turned on.

The device can be charged using a supplied cable or any AC Micro USB wall plug and, if left unused, will hold power for one to three months. The components used mean the battery should last a minimum of 500 charge cycles.

The Micro Charger is fully rechargeable, and is able to keep it's charge for at least 1 month before needing to be recharged.
