Shabaash India television had recorded the event.
Sonal Kakatikar and Gajendra Kakatikar, Karate masters of Belgaum, discovered the hidden talent of Abhinandan and trained him to achieve the target.
In gymnastics, a cartwheel is the movement where one moves sideways (in the motion the wheel of a cart would follow) in a straight line keeping the back straight placing the hand of the same side on the ground followed by the other hand as the legs are passed over the body and then come down as the hands and body come up to a standing up position.
Form is important: cartwheels must be performed with straight arms and legs with a solid landing.
The Guinness World record for the Most Cartwheels in One Hour was set by Don Claps, 41, from Broomfield, Colorado, who performed 1,293 cartwheels. Before that, Don has tried to get recognized by the Guinness World Records with 1,076 cart wheels.
Guinness World records had listed another record: The most people performing cartwheels at the same time was 94 for an event organized by Minnesota Flyers Gymnastics at Detroit Lakes High School, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Cartwheels are nothing new to Guinness World Records. There are already entries for most cartwheels in a minute -- an astonishing 48 -- as well as an hour.
