Largest Pilates class-world record set by Can-Fit-Pro
and Stott Pilates
TORONTO, Canada -- A total of 623 fitness enthusiasts
of all ages and abilities, led by Moira Merrithew, co-founder
of
Stott Pilates, gathered at the Toronto Convention
Centre, to participate in a Pilates class-setting the world
record for the Largest Pilates class.
"The creation of a new world
record is an exciting way to celebrate the milestone of our
20th anniversary," said Lindsay G. Merrithew, president and
CEO of Stott Pilates .

The World’s Largest Pilates Class was
held in celebration of Can-Fit-Pro’s
15th and Stott
Pilates’ 20th anniversaries. Pilates is a rapidly-growing
fitness activity with more than 10.7 million people in North
America participating in some form of Pilates, according to
the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association.
