Most pots thrown in one hour: Joel Cherrico breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)

The Guinness World Records world record for the most pots thrown in 1 hour by an individual are 150 and were achieved by Mark Byles (UK) at the Ceramics South East Potters Market at the Friars, Aylesford, UK, on 28 June 2009.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest earthenware pot had a height of 310.1 cm (9 ft 10.54 in), a maximum circumference of 689.5 cm (22 ft 7.46 in), a mouth circumference of 502.9 cm (16 ft 5.99 in), a mouth diameter of 160.1 cm (5 ft 3.03 in), and a floor circumference of 466 cm (15 ft 3.46 in), and was achieved by Rytis Konstantinavicius (Lithuania), in Babimost, Poland, on 7 September 2014.
The current Guinness World Records world record is held by Mark Byles of the United Kingdom – he made 150 pots in an hour on June 28, 2009.
Joel Cherrico set out to break the Guinness World Records world record to help promote his pottery business online, he told the St. Cloud Times.
But it wasn't going to be an easy task. Cherrico uses a kick wheel instead of the electric pottery wheel Byles used for his world record.
To break the record, he had to make a pot every 24 seconds, the paper says. Using 350 pounds of clay, Cherrico had to make sure every pot met specific height and weight requirements to be counted.
