Most people modelling on a catwalk: Philippines breaks Guinness world record
MANILA, Philippine--A total of 2,255 men, women and children, from strutting seasoned professionals to stumbling first-timers have taken to the catwalk at Makati City's Glorietta Mall, setting the new world record for the Most people modelling on a catwalk,
according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

The previous Guinness world record for the most people modelling on a catwalk was 1,274 and was achieved by T-ARTS Company, Ltd. (Japan) at Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Most people modelling on a catwalk at multiple venues: 3,912 - in an event organised by Galeries Lafayette (France) in 52 towns across France.
They queued in unglamorous surroundings, hemmed in by metal railings, to take their turn on the catwalk at the renovated Ayala Mall during a fashion event that lasted several hours.
Held at Makati City's Glorietta Mall, the show named Move to the Vibe of Glorietta was organized to put Philippines high on the world's fashion map.
The successful world record attempt witnessed women between the ages of 18 and 45 strutting down the runway wearing latest fashion collections created by local brands like Bayo, Plains & Prints, Bench, Gibi, Freeway and Maldita.
Solo performers like Bamboo and Kyle Patrick also entertained the audience while the models took the ramp.
And a Guinness World Records adjudicator later certified that the attempt had beaten the previous record of 1,957 models set in Istanbul in May, according to a statement from real estate agent Ayala Land Inc.
