The Guinness World Records world record for the largest sticky note mosaic contains 300,000 sticky notes and was created by The Government of Dubai Land Department (UAE), in Dubai, UAE, on 25 May 2014.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most sticky notes on the body; it is 674 and was achieved by Tetsuro Degawa (Japan) on the set of Grand Whiz-Kids TV (NHK) in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, on 2 February 2014.

Prudential's Health and Wellness organization sponsored the event, which enlisted employees from across the world who contributed standard size notes with handwritten messages answering the question: "How do you stay healthy?"

"Prudential has become known for its culture of health and a big part of that is our employees' strategies for getting and staying well in our five areas of health: physical, emotional, spiritual, financial and social," said Andrew Crighton, M.D., Prudential's chief medical officer.

"This challenge was an opportunity for employees to share their tips for well-being, inspire their coworkers around the world and set a world record while doing it."

Prudential employees from 13 countries submitted their sticky notes with personal health and wellness messages. Rules for the competition required sticky notes to be 3 inches squared with messages accepted in any language, drawing from any of Prudential's five areas of health.

With an initial record of 5,000 notes to beat, the Health and Wellness team assembled the line of sticky notes in the new Prudential Tower lobby in Newark, NJ.
