  Most people singing in a nursery rhyme relay: Richmond Maritime Festival breaks Guinness world record

 
RICHMOND, BC, Canada -- 180 people completed the nursery rhyme relay at the Richmond Maritime Festival at at Britannia Shipyards in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, beating the old Guinness World Records' record of 154; the crowd sang "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," with a different person saying each word; they set the
new world record for the most people singing in a nursery rhyme relay, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

  The Guinness World Records' record for the largest number of people singing in a nursery rhyme relay is 154 and was achieved by The Jim Pattison Group (Canada) at the JPG Partners in Pride Conference in San Antonio, Texas, USA.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people singing live on a radio broadcast; it is 3,885 and was achieved by The Biggest Band (UK) at Wembley Arena, London, UK. The participants sang 'It's Alright' live on Resonance FM.


  180 people completed the nursery rhyme relay at the Richmond Maritime Festival, beating the old Guinness World Record of 154.

  The crowd sang "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," with a different person saying each word, the Richmond Review reported.

  The current Guinness world record is 154 participants, and was set in March of 2011 by the B.C.-based Jim Pattison Group at the Partners in Pride Conference in Texas
