The previous Guinness world record for the the largest gathering of skeletons (197) was set by the Paul O'Grady Show.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people dressed as Robin Hood: 1,119 at Castle Green, Nottingham, UK.
Victory cries rang out through the valleys of South Wales as a new World record was set by fancy dress supremo, Jokers' Masquerade. With the help of Swansea University students, Jokers' Masquerade has broken the previous Guinness world record for the largest gathering of skeletons, ever!
Donna Houguez, Marketing Manager explains; "As Jokers' Masquerade is a fancy dress company, we like to have a bit of fun! We wanted to do a Halloween fancy dress themed record and thought a room full of 2,000 dancing skeletons would make for a fantastic sight!"
The world ecord attempt was held at Swansea University Students Union, with entertainment provided by international rock band, Wheatus, and Radio 1 DJ, Matt Edmondson, and Jokers' Masquerade supplied all students with scary skeleton costumes to provide an optical delight!
