   Longest line of baby food: Idaho company breaks Guinness World Records record

   BOISE, ID, USA -- Representatives with Boise's Happy Family brands lined up more than 10,000 packages of baby food in the park, building a 1.2 mile chain and setting the new world record for the Longest line of baby food, according to the World Record Academy.

  The Guinness World Records' record for the largest packaged food mosaic measures 24.7 m (81 ft 0.44 in) in length, 38.6 m (126 ft 7.68 in) in width, and was achieved by Sharp MEA FZE, in Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai, UAE, on 3 October 2013. 149 employees created the mosaic out of 79,300 packs of food that were donated the food to UAE red crescent society.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest line of hamburgers; it is 306.27 m (1,004 ft 10 in) and was achieved by The Kuwait Food Co. Americana (Kuwait), in Kuwait city, Kuwait, on 30 May 2009.

   All of the food used in the attempt will be donated to local charities like Ronald McDonald House, the Idaho Foodbank, and City Light Rescue Mission.

   Marcu Alexander, a spokesperson for Happy Family, said it's important for the local company to find ways to give back to the community.

  "One of our employees was kind of joking around and thought it'd be fun to try and make the longest line of pouches," said Alexander.

  "Well it turned into this big event and we thought, what better way to give back to the community than something creative like this."
