The Guinness World Records' record for the e largest human playing card consisted of 600 participants at an event organized by the Turning Stone Resort and Casino (USA) in Verona, New York, USA on 13 July 2013.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest business seminar in multiple venues; it involved 2,371 participants and was achieved by Semana Nacional del Emprendedor (Mexico) organized by INADEM and the Secretaría de Economía de México, on 9 October 2015.

Measuring 2.3 meters by 1.5 meters—728 times the area of a normal business card — instantprint invited staff and friends to witness the record attempt at their premises on Manvers Way in Rotherham.

The card was initially measured by local independent chartered surveyor Gavin Sampson from Inform Surveying, before it was passed from one person to another as a normal card would be. It had to withstand the normal requirements of a business card and clearly display contact details and company information.

Co-Owner at instantprint, James Kinsella said, "What better way to celebrate our recent move to larger premises and investment in the very latest printing technology, than to demonstrate we can print just about anything!

"It was a challenge finding just the right material to print on, to make sure the card could be held easily without bending. Once we'd trialled a few methods, we printed and measured them multiple times to make sure they were perfect.
