   Tallest inflatable slide: Perth water slide breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)
   
    Perth, Australia -- 'The Nova Drop', at Perth's Xscape at the City pop-up water park, constructed by FreeStyle Slides in the USA, stands at 22.4 metres high and is accessible via 12 flights of stairs, thus setting the new world record for the Tallest inflatable slide, according to the World Record Academy.

 The Guinness World Records world record for the tallest inflatable slide is 12.90 m (42 ft 3.87 in) high and was achieved by The Beachouse (Australia) as measured at the Brian Nadilo Reserve in Glenelg, Australia, on 27 November 2015.

     Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest inflatable waterslide measures 601.98 m (1,975 ft) and was created by Live More Awesome (New Zealand) as verified at Action Park in Vernon, New Jersey, USA, on 10 July 2015.


    The dual lane inflatable racer slide, constructed by FreeStyle Slides in the USA, stands at 22.4 metres high and is accessible via 12 flights of stairs.

     It smashed the previous Guinness World Records world record of 12.9 metres held by The Big Wedgie in Glenelg, South Australia.

    Xscape at the City Director, Douglas Campbell, was delighted with this latest endorsement of 'The Nova Drop' side, adding "pop-up water slides and parks are such a new and exciting concept for Australia and actually the world. "We've received such a positive response from all our Perth patrons, so achieving this world record is the icing on the cake."
