Chegg box that students recognize and love is now officially
the world's
largest cardboard box!" said Tina Couch, vice
president of public relations at Chegg.
"But, we're even more excited about being
able to come to UCLA and talk to students about renting their
textbooks. Once they hear how easy it is and how much money
they can save, it's a no-brainer."
Chegg
has an inventory of more than 2.4 million titles, offering
savings at more than 6,400 colleges and universities across
America. Not only do students save a ton of money by renting,
but there is no need to wait in line at the bookstore.
Textbooks are shipped in the iconic orange
box in less than a week and return postage is free. For every
book rented, Chegg plants a tree through its partnership with
American Forests. To date, Chegg
has planted more than 850 acres of trees or the equivalent
of 650 Rose Bowls.
This new world record for the Largest
Cardboard Box is eclipsing the previous Guinness world
record of 42 ft x 16 ft x 8 ft set just two weeks ago, in
New York.
