The Guinness world record for the longest journey on roller skis is 2,246.21 km (1,395.73 mi) and was achieved by Cesar Baena (Venezuela) from Stockholm, Sweden, to Oslo, Norway, between 11 May and 5 July 2012.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest parade of inline skaters; it consisted of 1,188 participants who skated for 20.4 km (12.68 miles) on the streets of Paris in an event organised by Rollers & Coquillages (France) in Paris, France, on 15 June 2008.

He set the Guinness world record for roller skiing in 2012 when he took 57 days to clock up 2,246.21kms in Sweden and Norway.

In his latest journey he has endured sub-tropical heat and an even tougher endurance test as he has criss-crossed Venezuela.

Next stop he hopes will be Sochi 2014 to compete in the Nordic events, the PlanetSki reported.
