  Fastest mile on two wheels: Nissan Juke breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)

   
LONDON, UK -- Nissan took its revved-up Juke Nismo RS to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where it promptly broke the Guinness World Records record for fastest one mile on two wheels by a four-wheel car; with a time of two minutes and 10 seconds, stunt driver Terry Grant not only broke the previous recorded by 35 seconds, but also completed the world famous circuit,
according to the World Record Academy.
The Nissan Juke Nismo RS, at the hands of veteran stunt driver Terry Grant, has set a new world record for the fastest mile travelled on two wheels in a four-wheeled vehicle at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

  The Guinness World Records' record for the fastest time to change all four wheels on a road car is 59.62 sec, and was achieved by kfzteile24 (Germany) at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz in Klettwitz, Brandenburg, Germany, on 31 May 2015.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people crammed in a car driven on two wheels; it is 13 and was achieved by Stéphane Riesen (Switzerland) and 12 passengers during the Swiss Car Event held at the Geneva Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland on 16 June 2013.

     Nissan took its revved-up Juke Nismo RS to the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend, where it promptly broke the Guinness World Records world record for fastest one mile on two wheels by a four-wheel car.

    With a time of two minutes and 10 seconds, stunt driver Terry Grant not only broke the previous recorded by 35 seconds, but also completed the world famous circuit.

      The car used was not the Nissan Juke-R 2.0 concept but an actual production car powered by a 1.6 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 215 hp and 280 Nm of torque. The Nissan Juke Nismo RS completed the record run with an average speed of 44.3 km/h.
