Longest side wheel drive: Jagathish M breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)
MUMBAI, India -- Jagathish M, a tuk tuk (think three-wheeled motorized rickshaw) driver in Chennai, India, set the world record for longest side-wheel drive; after ramping up to a speed of nearly 50 mph, Jagathish tilted his three-wheeled tuk tuk onto two wheels and cruised for 1.37 miles, setting the new world record for the Longest side wheel drive on three-wheel,
according to the World Record Academy.

The Guinness World Records' record for the farthest distance side-wheel driving in an autorickshaw is 2.2 km (1.37 miles) and was achieved by Jagathish M (India) for Guinness World Records - Ab India Todega at the Juhu Aerodrome in Mumbai, India, on 17 February 2011.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Fastest bicycle wheelie - rear wheel, set by Bobby Root (USA), who achieved a speed of 138.56 km/h (86.1 mph) whilst riding his bicycle on the rear wheel at Palmdale, California, USA, on 31 January 2001 Jagathish M, a tuk tuk (think three-wheeled motorized rickshaw) driver in Chennai, India, set the world record for longest side-wheel drive, a feat he accomplished in his yellow work vehicle in front of Guinness World Records cameras.
After ramping up to a speed of nearly 50 mph, Jagathish tilted his three-wheeled tuk tuk onto two wheels and cruised for 1.37 miles.
Jagathish set the record at the Juhu Aerodrome in Mumbai on the "Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega" show.
