  Fastest half marathon pushing a pram: Lindsy James breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)
   
   LONDON, UK -- Lindsy James, 37, from Tickhill, a member of Kimberworth Striders Running Club, became the fastest person to ever complete a half-marathon while pushing a buggy, which held her son Archie, during Derby's Ramathon; Mrs James completed the Ramathon in 1hr 27mins 34secs, smashing the Guinness World Records record for the 13.1-mile distance by more than three minutes, thus setting the new world record for the Fastest half marathon pushing a pram (female), according to the World Record Academy.

 
 A mum and her eight-and-a-half-month-old baby smashed a world record when they completed Derby's Ramathon. Lindsy James became the fastest person to ever complete a half-marathon while pushing a pram, which held her son Archie. The pair smashed the record for the 13.1-mile distance by more than three minutes and Mrs James was delighted by her achievement.

 The Guinness World Records world record for the fastest time to run a half marathon whilst pushing a pram is 1 hr 30 min 51 sec by Nancy Schubring (USA) at the Mike May Races Half Marathon, Vassar, Michigan, USA on 15 September 2001.

     Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the fastest half marathon pushing a pram (male); it is 1 hour 11 min 27 sec and was achieved by Calum Neff (Canada) at the Katy Half Marathon in Katy, Texas, USA, on 6 February 2016.


     Lindsy James from Tickhill became the fastest person to ever complete a half-marathon while pushing a buggy, which held her son Archie, during Derby's Ramathon.

    The pair smashed the record for the 13.1-mile distance by more than three minutes and Mrs James was delighted by her achievement.

    She and Archie were accompanied by her husband Owen and two other independent witnesses, Andy Lockwood and Kevin Doyle to make up Team James. The route started and ended at Derby County's iPro Stadium.

   Mrs James is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Rotherham Hospice. So far, Team James has raised more than £3,000.
