Fastest 100 metres relay in high heels: Majken Sichlau breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)
Amager, Denmark -- Denmark's Majken Sichlau, 22, ran a time of 13.56 seconds in the 100 metre dash in stilettos at Tårnby Stadium in Amager – almost a second faster than the previous record of 14.53 seconds held by Julia Plecher of Germany,
setting the new world record for the Fastest 100 metres relay in high heels,
according to the World Record Academy.

The Guinness World Records' record for the fastest time to run a 4 x 100 metres relay is 1 min 4.19 sec and was achieved by The Pinkettes Brittney McGlone, Jessica Penney, Laura Juliff and Casey Case (all Australia) at the Venus Embrace Closest Stiletto Relay event held in Sydney, NSW, Australia, on 28 September 2010. A custom-made 7cm high and 1.5cm wide device was used to measure the heels of each participant.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people running 100 metres in a 1 hour relay; it is 252 and was achieved by the Lebanon High School and Watertown High School (both USA) in Lebanon, Tennessee, USA, on 19 April 2012. The 22-year-old Danske Bank advisor is the new World Record holder in the 100 metre dash in stilettos.
Sichlau ran a time of 13.56 seconds at Tårnby Stadium in Amager – almost a second faster than the previous record of 14.53 seconds held by Julia Plecher of Germany.
"To be honest, I don't think it has sunk in yet," Sichlau told Ekstra Bladet tabloid.
"It's probably the most surreal thing I've experienced. It's the most awesome feeling and I am extremely happy and proud."
Sichlau revealed that she often goes running in her stilettos and she has taken part in stiletto races before on Strøget in Copenhagen (as part of Fashion Week) and in Odense.
