  Most lipstick applications - world record set by Estée Lauder
  Chicago, IL, USA -- Record-breaker and Estée Lauder Global Makeup Stylist, Rick DiCecca, applied lipstick on 303 participants at Macy’s historic State Street location in downtown Chicago - setting the new world record for the Most lipstick applications.

   The previous Guinness world record for the Most lipstick applications was 180 applications.

   “I am ecstatic to now hold the very first Guinness World Records achievement for Estée Lauder,” said DiCecca, who travels the world as a brand ambassador and creative consultant.

    “As a makeup artist, I’m used to working under pressure and this success was definitely a new and different way to challenge my skills.”

   Guidelines for the record category stipulate that the lipstick must be applied consistently on the lower and upper lip of each model and the color must be within the lip lines.

    A different lipstick for each model must be used although any variety and color of lipstick is permitted.

    DiCecca needed both precision and speed to smash the previous world record of 180 applications set by a European makeup artist in Madrid, Spain, on March 3rd of this year.
