Most bottles played: Save-On-Foods breaks Guinness World Records world record (VIDEO)
LANGLEY, B.C., Canada -- Thanks to the help of a local music teacher and students from Seycove Secondary School, 1,100 bottles were tuned and brought together to successfully play "Happy Birthday" - to help team members from Save-On-Foods, part of the Overwaitea Food Group (OFG) celebrate their 100th birthday and set the new world record for the Most bottles played in a musical performance,
according to the World Record Academy.

The previous Guinness World Records' record for the most bottles played in a musical performance was 1,100 and was achieved by 172 musicians organised by the Jim Pattison Group Partners in Pride Executive Conference (Canada) in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, on 19 March 2015.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest glass bottle mosaic; it consists of 7,420 bottles and was achieved by HOMEX Co., Ltd (Japan) at Toyota Ecoful Town, in Toyota, Aichi, Japan, on 31 August 2014.

The previous Guinness World Records world record was 475 bottles and with the successful playing of 1100 bottles, Save-On-Foods and their friends are now the World Record holders of this title.
The previous world record was set in 2011 by Jack Daniels. The feat was completed in Langley by 172 newly-trained bottle musicians, The Langley Times reports.
Darrell Jones, the president of Save-On-Foods, said they could never have accomplished the feat without the help of teacher Teresa Harris and the Seycove Students.
